A Professional Find was created to help women like you find
success at home and at work, if that’s what you want. It’s a
niche that’s void among Valley search firms. And, with the growing
number of professional women seeking employers that truly honor
and provide work/life balance programs, it’s a niche that A Professional
Find is ready to serve.
Cheri Jefferies and Laurie Wallace each wear many names — mom,
professional, sister, cook, wife, carpooler, family accountant,
role model and daughter —just to name a few.
But when you look at Cheri and Laurie together, it is really
a tale of two different women and what brought them together
to create their company, A Professional Find.
In 1987, Cheri left the full-time employment track and became
a stay-at-home mom to her four children. Prior to her exit, she
was a certified public accountant at a Big Four accounting firm.
For the last 20 years she has maintained her license as a CPA
in Arizona. And although she made her job as mother her official
title, she definitely didn’t lose sight of the business world.
In fact, with her family’s support, she started a real estate
investment company in 2001, creating an ideal balance between
work and family.
The average person makes more than three career changes during
their working life, according to the U.S. Department of Labor
Statistics. Like these same professionals, Laurie is on her third
career, this time in a new venture as an entrepreneur. Before
A Professional Find, Laurie was an account executive for the
biotech division of a medical device company. Prior to that,
she was a sales representative for a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical
company. For her first career, spanning 17 years, Laurie practiced
as a pediatric occupational therapist and served as a master
trainer for a newborn developmental program. Each career she
has chosen to explore has inspired the passion and determination
that has brought her to this business.
Cheri and Laurie are united in their passion for
motherhood and the determination that all mothers who want to
should be able to strike a balance between being a mother and
being a professional. Because let’s face it, you never stop being
either.
Together they created A Professional Find to help moms find
a way back in to the workforce without sacrificing their families
or their own talents. A Professional Find is a trusted advisor
to these women, helping them every step of the way to explore
professional opportunities that fit their schedules, at companies
that focus on ways to recruit, retain and reattach talented women. |
